Frequently Asked Questions

Are your shirts available in stores?

We currently only sell online in order to keep the price as competitive as possible. However, we may consider a retail presence in the future. If you would like your pro shop to stock Ramsie Golf Shirts please ask them to get in touch with us.

Do you have any other colours?

Our shirts are released in limited edition colourways. Indigo was our first colour, followed by Grey Marl. New colours will be released on a regular basis. Subscribe to our mailing list below and you’ll be the first to know of future product launches.

Isn’t wool supposed to be itchy?

The wool traditionally used for knitwear and the jumpers your aunty gave you for Christmas is composed of thick, rough fibres which can cause skin irritation, but Merino wool fibres are the complete opposite - soft, light and flexible. We use the superfine category of Merino wool which means the fibres are less than half the diameter of a human hair.

No chest logo?

Correct. We’d rather the fabric and design of our shirts do the talking.

Is Merino wool suitable for warm weather?

Absolutely. The temperature regulating properties of Merino wool make it suitable for both warm and cool climates. Our shirts have been extensively tested during summertime in Sydney where temperatures regularly exceed 30C, and in Fiji where heat and sunshine combine with the blustery tradewinds.

The buttons aren’t equally spaced. Why’s that?

Well spotted. We designed our shirts to incorporate elements of traditional tailoring found in dress shirts, such as the two piece collar construction. Likewise, the button spacing on the placket is similar to that of dress shirts where the second button is placed closer to the collar button in order to support the weight and structure of the collar when it’s worn open. The higher placement of the second button also helps to keep the chest covered in cooler weather without needing to look too formal with the top button fastened.

Are there plans for women’s golf shirts?

You can read minds? Women’s shirts are definitely on the roadmap. Watch this space or, even better, subscribe to our mailing list below for updates.

I’m interested in buying a shirt as a gift. Do you offer gift wrapping?

Congratulations on your fine taste in gifts! You’ll find an option to add a gift box at checkout.

How much is shipping?

Delivery to Australian addresses is free. There is usually a $30 flat fee for international orders (which are delivered by DHL) but due to increased shipping costs due to COVID-19 this fee has temporarily increased to $50.
